We all enjoy story telling, whether fact or fiction. Testimonies have the added advantage of being factual, hence it is an amazing method of sharing ones faith for the simple fact that it is factual, and people can easily identify with it. Testimonies build up an individual’s level of expectations, and expectation is a pre-requisite to receiving from the Lord. In situations and places where expectations are low, the Lord could not do much work in their midst.
When you share your testimony, you ICE TEA your listeners, and raise their expectations. Don’t be shy about what the Lord has done in your life. Whether it is one-on-one with a friend, colleague or acquaintance, or with a whole city like the Samaritan woman, use testimonies to bring people closer to the Lord.
Remember, it is not about you or whatever you think you done to merit the testimony. It is about the Lord.
