Introducing "Daughter, Arise!" - Jesus (Luke 8:54)

"He put them all outside, took HER by the hand and called, saying, Daughter, Arise!"Jairus, a prominent synagogue ruler entreated our Lord to come to his home and attend to his only daughter who was sick. On His way, our Lord had to meet the need of
another daughter whose case was written off, humanly speaking. Eventually, Jairus was told that his daughter was dead, and he should not bother the Master anymore. Our Lord immediately encouraged him to believe that his daughter will be healed. Truly the
little girl as dead, but our Lord spoke the word, and she was raised back to life. Afterwards, the Lord took her by the hand, gave her to her parents, and said, "Give her something to eat."

Life Lessons:

It does not matter what your state is, or who you are, the Lord is willing to meet your need. Jairus was a community man by all standards; he was well-known and very well off with servants, and all. His daughter was the only child he had. Come to think of it,
despite of the crowd, he was able to have direct access to the Master! I wonder why the disciples did not push him aside. Your guess is as good as mine. The woman with the issue of blood on the other hand, was a nobody. No one knew her. She was an
ostracized, forgotten, wretched woman. She had to push her way through the crowd, having considered herself not in the caliber of the Jairuses who could come up to the Master and present their needs. Yet, the Lord met both needs. That is why Daughter,
Arise! is for women irrespective of your social, political, educational, age, whatever status. It is for women from the pub to the palace, and from the pew to the pulpit. The Lord has something for you. He is ready to meet you at the point of your need.
The Little girl was dead. For us ladies, it is like the society has confined us to certain roles, and it can be very difficult for us to come out of the box. In homes, the church, the marketplace, etc. Consider these statistics from the United Nations. Go to:

http://unstats.un.org/unsd/demographic/products/indwm/statistics.htm#families
Legal marriage age for women in some countries: 12-15 years
Adult literacy rate, as low as 13% for women

Women legislators and managers are as low as 3% in some countries, etc. What do these tell us? Scripturally, it is not meant to be so. Genesis 3:15. When God set the battle line, He placed us in the frontline. The situation for us now may look hopeless,
but the Lord is saying, "No, she is not dead. She is only asleep." We are entering a season in which the Lord is calling on His daughters to rise up, and be about the business of the Kingdom. If women like Deborah could rise up to be the mother and
judge of her nation, in a place and time when women were only seen and not heard, then we have no excuse. "Daughter, I say unto thee, Arise!" - Jesus.

Jesus said, "Give her something to eat". As we begin to wake up to our position, we need good nutrition from trusted mentors.
Give her - A command for a mentor, a leader, etc. to provide necessary nutrition. That's why Daughter Arise! is here.

Something to eat - Good, balanced, healing, spiritual nutrition. Isaiah 5: 13 - "My people have gone into captivity because they have no knowledge". Our lack of knowledge has confined us to the state we are in. To come out, we need wisdom and understanding
that comes from Him. Expect more ICE TEAs from Daughter, Arise!

I maintain that as women, we are under-utilizing our potentials. We can do a lot more than the society has allowed us to. Nevertheless, we need Him to come to our rescue. He will help us.
